Description
Common Hope (Familias de Esperanza) promotes and oportunity
in Guatemala, parthenering with children, and communities
who want to participate in a process of development to improve
their lives through education, health canre and housing.
We work with over 8,000 Guatemalan children and adults living
in a rural and urban poverty in Antigua and Guatemala City.
We have a comphrensive set of progrmas that allows us to work
personally with impoverish children and their families. Common
Hope's work is concentrated in five basic areas: education,
health care, housing, community and family assistance, and
economic development.
Activities
The short term volunteer opportunities change according to
the needs of the foundation and the language and working skills
of the volunteers.
Minimum: 2 months.
Spanish: Depending on the area intermediate/high intermediate
Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm
Capacity: Depending on the amount of work.
